Malgr\u00e9 les tentatives de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile pour d\u00e9noncer ces abus, le gouvernement semblait insensible aux appels \u00e0 la justice et aux enqu\u00eates approfondies. La Ligue Iteka, en observant de pr\u00e8s la situation, a r\u00e9pertori\u00e9 69 personnes tu\u00e9es, parmi lesquelles 51 hommes, 18 femmes dont 15 enfants.
