Malgr\u00e9 les tentatives de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile pour d\u00e9noncer ces abus, le gouvernement semblait insensible aux appels \u00e0 la justice et aux enqu\u00eates approfondies. La Ligue Iteka, en observant de pr\u00e8s la situation, a r\u00e9pertori\u00e9 72 personnes tu\u00e9es, parmi lesquelles 52 hommes, 20 femmes dont 12 enfants.
